Myself and my partner were looking to purchase our first home together. Originally we were using the service of another agent and while they were fine, they weren’t exceptional. Exceptional is a word I would use to describe Mary. We ended up at an open house that Mary was showing and we instantly fell in love, so much so we ended up reaching out to see if she would help us in the search for our first home.
To say Mary was anything short of excellent would be an understatement. The houses we looked at were outside of St. John’s Metro, and although there was a long list that she viewed with us, she never once complained. No distance was too far, no amount of viewings was too many.
Every house she viewed with us, she gave her honest opinion on what she thought of the home. She never sugar-coated the negatives to ensure a sale. She never made us feel pressured into anything. And her experience and expertise were incredibly valuable.
We ended up with an accepted offer on a home and when it came to the walk through and inspection, once again the thoroughness and detail Mary brought to the table were amazing. She checked every window, every tap, every switch to make sure things were working. In my walk through experience with another agent in the past, this was not done. They literally walked through the home, checking nothing to make sure it worked. So when compared to Mary, we appreciate her commitment.

I’ve seen Mary climb through a literal forest to check for survey poles. Climb into a crawlspace, her own flashlight in hand to check on the condition of the space. There’s the time she stood in the shower herself to make sure the water was working, not worried about getting soaked. She goes above and beyond in every she does to make sure she’s providing her clients the best service possible.

I don’t even know where to begin. Mary Ryan has been our realtor for the past 5 years. It was with her guidance we were able to sell our old and purchase a new home. She answered endless emails and phone calls. Never loosing interest. Her mind works so fast I was blown away with the knowledge she possessed. Mary Ryan was our realtor she helped us sell our cottage/home. She is very helpful knowledgable and very patient as we live in British Columbia with the 4 1/2 hour time difference. She went over everything with us, answered all our questions. Kept this informed weekly when there was a viewing how the viewing went. even sent me birthday wishes.
